A Post for December

A lot has happened in the year that's just setting and I found some worthy thought to share. They are just simply structured sentences to sum all that...
  • Forgive and forget: The bible has taught us that it's only when we forgive our father in heaven will forgive us. Forgive yourself for whatever goals you thought you would achieve but you couldn't. Give yourself an easy time as you cross over to a new year The Lord willing.
  • Never regret anything! Ask for the fathers will in everything...The scripture says; .."In prayer and supplication make your requests known to God."
  • Always be grateful in everything for we live in an uncertain world... Embrace every day and find the good in every situation.
  • Make HIM be the centre of your life. He's your creator. He knows your life best.
  • As you go about life's pathway you will find positive people. Share alot with them. You will have so much in common. If you find negative people, encourage them. They only need some help to get up.
  • Last and not least enjoy your holidays like you will never have another coz life is really short.

How to stay Smart

We live in a world where things are changing by the day..Be it in
  • Tech
  • Fashion
  • Work structures
  • Policies etc,abc..
It's important to stay smart in all ways:
  •  Physically : That's why there are countless gymnasium rooms everywhere.
  • Mentally: A number of employers carry various aptitude tests on potential employees to test how smart they are and use the results as one of their criteria to pick their employees from the group.
  • Spiritually: There are very many churches in the Country where one is supposed to freely worship, however, your soul which can only has two emotions/sense faith or doubt is what should lead you to your choice of church.
  1. Physical outlook really matters.
The expressions you wear on your face is what communicates first with the stranger or friend before you utter a word. It could be welcoming,It could send them away. How you behave makes them feel warm or cold around you.
To keep warm, always wear a lovely smile. Do not fake. It might lean more to a grin than a smile... It will radiate to the onside and the reception of the people around you will want to associate with you. Wearing a stern face may fasten aging. That has been proven

2. Dressing!!! This is quite the most sensitive area to talk about. I would hate to speak and stumble on peoples believes... But hey! dress in a manner that's modest. If you are a Christian, dress like one and a Christian is Christ-like.
Know your body and dress it right... It's also a self confidence booster.

3.Make up: For those who believe in having no make up at all... Keep at it.
And for them who must walk with some pods,I don't know additional lashes and brows, foundations and things... be very careful..Make up could fail and the effects will catch up with you as you age...And if you still insist, apply a very thin layer... to keep it moderate...

Ideas to solve real problems

The world we live in is inhabited by very many people...an upwards of 7 billion. Not sure that's very accurate.... That's to mean there is insanely too much activity that's happening in the world, one would wonder what holds planet earth in place.
Well, even if you are not a believer in God's word for this AGE which is the  END OF TIMES you can attest to The supernatural power holding us together...with all the explosives and the destruction they could cause when abused.
With all these people though,we all are 'wired' to think in a different way.
Which is very unique, and this is where I expound on my topic. There has been a number of innovations that have greatly transformed the way people handle different day to day situations...
 From
Financial issues to social issues, spiritual issues...and so much more..

Mpesa Technology has really helped transfer 'monies' to the most interior parts of the country.
The same Technology has flashed the green light to Mobile banking industry and other few technologies. With Banks aiming to have outlets at every corner of the country.

However, There are still very many real life situations that need to be solved. For instance, more than giving people traffic updates,And the alternative routes they could use,one could come up with a scientific way of unlocking those gridlocks especially when it rains.

(Whatever happens when it rains should be a case study.)

There is still an issue with getting the best househelps to assist with indoor chores while you are away. I have met ladies who do only laundry for a fee...and other cleaning services for homes and companies...
How about integrating all that to form one company get the right labour force and work from house to house within defined timelines...
Well maybe I'm too ambious to think through these... But I believe we still have unattended problems we could venture into and help transform our country.

Point to note... It's never about the money you can get, It's about the QUALITY of services you could offer and the customer numbers will shoot up.

Choose to Be Kind

  • Three things in human life are important: the first is Be kind; Be kind;  and the third is… you guessed it right… is to be kind.
  • Whatever can be done, can be done more effectively when you add kindness.
Whatever words are spoken, will always be more compelling when expressed with kindness.

The kind deeds you exert in just one moment can have a positive impact that lasts a lifetime.

Your days will be brighter and your years fuller when you add kindness to your purpose.

Choose to be kind every day, and you’re truly choosing to live in a world with less stress and more happiness.

Buibuis

I happen to have a strong admiration of anything under the sun that's in black colour.

of  Dark cutlery, Interior decor in black, Weddings theme with Black as the main colour ,But for now I'm on Buibuis..The attire that's assumed to belong to ladies who profess the muslim faith.
Their long dresses are decent,.. Not to mention the shiny embroided thing that makes a buibui look "fashionable" .
A few people don't really notice your attire...and then the larger group notices and most of them if not all ask all the unanswerable questions....

Of the questions and confrontations I had to handle this particularly interesting notion, some people felt Buibuis should never be won by christians....

Reason? That if your faith is weak, you might be swooped by the' community faster than the speed at which a hawk spots and 'reaches' for some chunk of meat on a plate in an open air reception arangement.

I recently went shopping for buibuis and the sellers were more than willing to sell me some pieces. And from that time, I got this idea that a decent attire is fit to be won by anyone, no matter what they believe in ,because the ultimate goal is to look attractive, decent, modest and stick to the confines of the dictates of your FAITH.

To cut the long story short I love buibuis and yes I am a staunch Christian.

Feeling alittle Old but anytime is Time for Gratitude

I take this rare chance of writing on my birthday...I was talking to a friend and they made me discover how phenomenal today is... and i took time off to put it down.

It's the 10th month of the year and we're in the 14th year into millennium two. The (10) & (14) Make 24 . (Do not use the And Or theory... Just add)   Again it's falling on the 24th day of the month. Let me call this my eclipse birthday......

Lol...
I take this opportunity to invite you to share in this gratitude..

“Today, I feel grateful for having a group of resourceful people around me they make my life wonderful.”
“Today, I feel grateful for the hiking  during  mashujaa holiday at the Ngong Hills with friends...Let's forget its effect on my muscles..after all good health and fitness is key to a good physical life”
“Today, I feel grateful for the chance to have the most lovely environment..work,home,church...everywhere. I can only do my best to leave this place better.”
“Today, I feel grateful that my family and close friends wished me happy birthday when i least remembered I had soo much in my head this morning.”
“Today, I feel grateful above all for being God's child. It's the most amazing experience..To know that when you kneel in prayer,There is a listening Father who will come to you right on time...”

So much to be grateful about.  Not only for me...All of us have something, someone we need to make time and appreciate.

There's something good every day.

What made you feel good about yourself today?

I would like to ask a loved one this question to help them celebrate what’s right about their life, right now.

It goes without saying, not every day will be good, but there will always be something good about every day.          The key is:
  • Notice these things and celebrate them.
  •  Train our minds to see the good.          Positivity is a choice.
The happiness of our lives, depends on the quality of our thoughts.
When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change how we think about it.
And the first step is celebrating what CAN be celebrated – the lessons, the laughs, and the love we’ve experienced along the way.

And best of all, when you help a loved one celebrate these things, your gesture, in and of itself, becomes something worth celebrating and smiling about.

Of Quotes and their impacts.

I read a quote sometime, put it down and it's time I'm pondering over it after I saw it while flipping my notebook.

"If you can't fly..run..
If you can't run.. walk...
If you can't walk...crawl."  (paraphrased)

Never give up.
Times are hard.
A few things might get tough
But by all means life is too short to give up on everything life has to offer.

Try something...Be active and at the end of the day there is a great story for others to hear and take it as an encouragement.

As we all reach our destiny I challenge us to put up quotes...on our whatsapp..on Facebook.. Twitter because these Quotes on faith, motivation and whatever may uplift you remind us our origin and our destiny..
The other day our Pastor in Church was speaking about Faith... I was more than blessed to be reminded how Faith is positive. It's Direct. It doesn't imagine or doubt. In it's most perfect definition...

Faith:Is the substance of things hoped for,The evidence of things not seen.

I choose Faith. When I'm in doubt and have fears he is still GOD.When I am faithless he is still faith filled and I am His child so HE has faith in little me....What a privilege.
Will you choose faith with me?

Personalities

I have a sudden urge of writing till morning today...

Three posts up?

Well I heard a close wise friend say that one of the most interesting task is handling (Read managing) people... There should be a program from Bachelors to the highest level on the same. Managing people has been a science an art,And all.
Why did I write on personaltieis?
People have different personalities and it's in these people we have family, friends, neighbours, workmates and lovers just to mention a few..

Family. There are all personalities represented in a family, and even then, you always find a way of handling family members with love and care because they are the people in your life you never chose.
Friends,Some are friends for convenience, some are there to stay, you can call them at Midnight,Dawn,Midday and they are always there for you despite their busy schedule,

And there are lovers... well I could give my two cents on this topic; Lovers are friends who make a conscious decision to spend the rest of their lives together.... In my earlier days I always thought I love you...means two people are good together and in the right time everything else that follows is well automatic... And hey it's a beautiful stage... Very Beautiful.. :-)

Anyway the first step to handle different people is to first know yourself...
  • Know your weaknesses
  • Know your strengths
  • Know your temperaments
  • Know what makes you happy
  • Know how you handle stress(It's inevitable in life)
  • Know how you feel in different situations
  • Know how you communicate
Have a notebook and write  about yourselves....you can always edit as you grow wiser...
Embarking on that.. :-)

Then you can live with the meanest and the most unlovable person because you know their personality and as a christian you will know how to handle them.

Just another inspiring quote

In my few years of existence...well they could be many in another forum* I have learnt that it takes more courage to copy than it takes to stand out...

Because with copying what others do...you live their dreams...you let them have you as a mirror to know where they have reached and the mistakes they shouldn't make.
  • Take for instance a young christian girl or boy joining other friends in dressing and morals...it takes a lot of energies to act opposite of what you believe.
  • Take a poor man trying to fit in the higher ranks socially.... Living within your means will never leave you with unnecessary debts and social problems.
  • You lie about your capabilities during an interview only to land a job that will depress you every morning you rise to go to work...and Google for the first time disappoints you because  he never tells you every detail on how to handle your tasks.
  • A police officer flags you down and before you know whether you're on the wrong you're looking for your wallet to find a way of making him let you go on. First of all...if you know you did not have a mistake, your conscience is right...You cannot just give in.. And if he's malicious to work his way so that you stand in Court to be fined...you know their is a reason behind it...For things do not just find God's children without him allowing.
To stand out is easy, you live your life to the fullest by discovering your capabilities and passions and fulfilling them gradually and what's more satisfying?

While bench marking is important, discovering you is the most important you could ever do... Once a person discovers their talents, strengths,by analyzing their personalities to know who they truly are...they learn to appreciate the unique and special capabilities in other people.

And that way the world can be a beautiful place to interact with all these multi talented people around us...

So great people, emulate if you wish to but by all means don't copy... Your feet can only fit perfectly in a specific shoe made for you..and most important to know... God is the great author of this great book called life..

Only stay on the path God has mapped for you.. By staying focus and staying positive..

In a world where injustice prevails..

Before the week comes to an end, there is one particular happening i can't help but mention. The Githurai protests.

Just for briefs:
There is a policeman who single handedly reduced crimes in Githurai area and the neighbouring estates. He allegedly gunned down two guys (read criminals*) from the same family.
Reportedly they are brothers. It is said the police was arrested and  put in custody. The people were protesting because they have faith in this policeman who helped reduce the wave of crime...and just because he happened to rub the HAVES the legal way he's in jail.

Anyway I am not in the legal profession to tell if he was justified or not. But in my opinion this was right. He had warned them to leave the place to the extent of offering to give them bus fare to relocate to their rural homes and find genuine means of earning a living .The family of the deceased guys have a lot of money and so they paid his way to jail. It's truly sad. Business people closed their premisses and joined the strike but instead they were fought back. Not sure whether their pleas have been heard and someone will act.
What have i been pointing at? I have observed that most times if not always...it's the money that pays for your sins...
Just hit a pedestrian on a zebra crossing, all you need is hand the authorities some good lumpsum and the story is forgoten. It's a hopless world but we have a hope to live in that home filled with Joy,love songs, worships and praises...Until then, let's be a hopeful people in all things...

What did you do?

When you heard your friends are breaking their friendship? What did you do?
Did you try to help them overcome their struggles or did you wish they just parted ways?

You know that family that faced challenges...did you use it as an example to show how marriages have become or did you take it to God in prayer?

You probably heard that child of God who is struggling with their life...did you pray them back to God or did your actions and words push them further?

About that friend,or relative who is seeking something to do...did you silently wish in your heart that doors were closed longer or did you ask God to open those doors?

That needy child in the neighbourhood...Did you give them food or did you just go saying how parents have become irresponsible?

About the insecurities that have passed, did you go out ranting sarcastic words to express how  certain people have failed or did you tell it to God in prayer?

I could count my questions rather concerns to a hundred... I however want to ask myself and all of us what we are doing about the situations around us.
As Christians,do we seek God in his fullness?
Do we believe that HE IS THE MASTER of ALL SITUATIONS?
Then if our hearts condemn us not we could go to him in prayer, believing that whatever we shall ask in his name,if we believe we have it,we shall receive it.He asks us to seek and we shall find..
Knock and the door will be opened. If he spared Sodom because of 5people,He could spare us too.
And if we are his people, when we pray HE will heal our land.
Let us learn to seek God in his fullness....and in so doing,He will do the things he did when he walked on the shores of Galilee through us.

He will restore harmony and love in homes for his glory,
He will be the love in us in our relationships for HE IS LOVE.
He will create opportunities through us,
He will be the Kind neighbour to those who are in need of anything
He will restore peace for the sake of his children
And many more.

God is not limited. It's man who limits God by doubting or feelinmg there is something He/she could do.

Blessed Times
Friends.
