Personalities

I have a sudden urge of writing till morning today...

Three posts up?

Well I heard a close wise friend say that one of the most interesting task is handling (Read managing) people... There should be a program from Bachelors to the highest level on the same. Managing people has been a science an art,And all.
Why did I write on personaltieis?
People have different personalities and it's in these people we have family, friends, neighbours, workmates and lovers just to mention a few..

Family. There are all personalities represented in a family, and even then, you always find a way of handling family members with love and care because they are the people in your life you never chose.
Friends,Some are friends for convenience, some are there to stay, you can call them at Midnight,Dawn,Midday and they are always there for you despite their busy schedule,

And there are lovers... well I could give my two cents on this topic; Lovers are friends who make a conscious decision to spend the rest of their lives together.... In my earlier days I always thought I love you...means two people are good together and in the right time everything else that follows is well automatic... And hey it's a beautiful stage... Very Beautiful.. :-)

Anyway the first step to handle different people is to first know yourself...
  • Know your weaknesses
  • Know your strengths
  • Know your temperaments
  • Know what makes you happy
  • Know how you handle stress(It's inevitable in life)
  • Know how you feel in different situations
  • Know how you communicate
Have a notebook and write  about yourselves....you can always edit as you grow wiser...
Embarking on that.. :-)

Then you can live with the meanest and the most unlovable person because you know their personality and as a christian you will know how to handle them.

Just another inspiring quote

In my few years of existence...well they could be many in another forum* I have learnt that it takes more courage to copy than it takes to stand out...

Because with copying what others do...you live their dreams...you let them have you as a mirror to know where they have reached and the mistakes they shouldn't make.
  • Take for instance a young christian girl or boy joining other friends in dressing and morals...it takes a lot of energies to act opposite of what you believe.
  • Take a poor man trying to fit in the higher ranks socially.... Living within your means will never leave you with unnecessary debts and social problems.
  • You lie about your capabilities during an interview only to land a job that will depress you every morning you rise to go to work...and Google for the first time disappoints you because  he never tells you every detail on how to handle your tasks.
  • A police officer flags you down and before you know whether you're on the wrong you're looking for your wallet to find a way of making him let you go on. First of all...if you know you did not have a mistake, your conscience is right...You cannot just give in.. And if he's malicious to work his way so that you stand in Court to be fined...you know their is a reason behind it...For things do not just find God's children without him allowing.
To stand out is easy, you live your life to the fullest by discovering your capabilities and passions and fulfilling them gradually and what's more satisfying?

While bench marking is important, discovering you is the most important you could ever do... Once a person discovers their talents, strengths,by analyzing their personalities to know who they truly are...they learn to appreciate the unique and special capabilities in other people.

And that way the world can be a beautiful place to interact with all these multi talented people around us...

So great people, emulate if you wish to but by all means don't copy... Your feet can only fit perfectly in a specific shoe made for you..and most important to know... God is the great author of this great book called life..

Only stay on the path God has mapped for you.. By staying focus and staying positive..

In a world where injustice prevails..

Before the week comes to an end, there is one particular happening i can't help but mention. The Githurai protests.

Just for briefs:
There is a policeman who single handedly reduced crimes in Githurai area and the neighbouring estates. He allegedly gunned down two guys (read criminals*) from the same family.
Reportedly they are brothers. It is said the police was arrested and  put in custody. The people were protesting because they have faith in this policeman who helped reduce the wave of crime...and just because he happened to rub the HAVES the legal way he's in jail.

Anyway I am not in the legal profession to tell if he was justified or not. But in my opinion this was right. He had warned them to leave the place to the extent of offering to give them bus fare to relocate to their rural homes and find genuine means of earning a living .The family of the deceased guys have a lot of money and so they paid his way to jail. It's truly sad. Business people closed their premisses and joined the strike but instead they were fought back. Not sure whether their pleas have been heard and someone will act.
What have i been pointing at? I have observed that most times if not always...it's the money that pays for your sins...
Just hit a pedestrian on a zebra crossing, all you need is hand the authorities some good lumpsum and the story is forgoten. It's a hopless world but we have a hope to live in that home filled with Joy,love songs, worships and praises...Until then, let's be a hopeful people in all things...
